MAR, H x mastin joven ADOPTADA

Mar apareció por la carretera en Asturias. Fue rescatada al momento de entrar en una perrera, y está en acogida en la zona de Nava, Asturias.
Estaba muy delgada. Es una perra joven, sociable y cariñosa.
Primero - a ganar peso.. Entró con poco más de 30 kg de peso.

Mar al entrar y 17 días más tarde - luego 29/1/14 nos dió un susto y tuvo una torsión de estomago. Está operada y ya nunca tendrá una torsión pero fue un susto tremendo. Y ha sido una operación muy cara - 1200 eur de factura. Si quereís colaborar, abajo encontraís el número de cuenta.



This mastina girl was found wandering and brought to the local dog pound. She was extremely thin. We fed her carefully, several times a day and everything went well until she got a stomach torsion - she was operated and will now never have a stomach torsion again, but we were lucky to realise what had happened straight away. She will now be spayed and will be ready for adoption.
You can imagine this was a very expensive operation (1,200 euro...) - if you would like to help us, please find our bank accounts below.

Now, end of March 2014 she is almost at her ideal weight and ready for an adoption. She is a very nice and obedient dog, she gets on well with the 9 dogs of different sizes at her foster home, but prefers the bigger ones. She needs a bit more time to get used to the small dogs. She is house-trained and does not tend to bark inside the house or break or chew things. She likes to bark at strangers at the gate, as all dogs do that but she is very friendly towards strangers, even a bit shy in the beginning. She loves to be petted and at night she sleeps with her friends in the living room. She is ok with the resident cat. She travels well by car. She walks well on the leash although she should get more experience going to places that are not familiar to her.
